Forty years after Munich

The evil bus bombers must be condemned

Belfast Telegraph, Friday, 20 July 2012 and Irish News, Wednesday, 25 July 2012
The mass-murder of young Israelis in the  Bulgarian bus bombing must be condemned by all right-thinking people.
There can be no justification for this dastardly deed – except in the minds  of the most evil in our society.
Those who planned such a nasty operation have consciences seared by hot  irons. They have no sense of right and wrong, or notion of decency.
This loss of innocent life will do nothing for any cause; it will result only  in heartache for the families of the dead and injured.
The peoples of the Middle East are neighbours whose prosperity and well-being  are jointly linked.
Arab nations genuinely seeking democracy and peace for themselves have a  responsibility to condemn this evil deed.
Only Left-wing extremist supporters of violence against Israel’s right to  exist will justify this carnage and the loss of innocent life.
